We purchased this unit for home office use and it has excelled in every way.The shredding capacity is more than expected as is the day by day function. The design size as built is deceptive, we had thought on unpacking the shredder we had undersized the model picked.
The convenience and ease of removing the shredded material is much better than our previous unit with no spillage or loose paper.
The rapid delivery by Amazon was an additional bonus

I purchased this product over a year ago due to needing to replace another Fellows shredder. It lasted over 10 years. This one has worked very well and I like this manufacturer. I would recommend inserting no more than 4 sheets of paper unless your paper is very very thin because more slows it down. I don't want to chance burning the motor. I also like the reverse feature since I have inserted too many sheets at one time. I don't take chances inserting staples and I believe it is not recommended anyway. I also don't use plastic mailing labels in it because they seem to accumulate between the blades. It works well for credit cards. It's a good purchase for your home. It's a good investment and I like Fellows Shredder products. I'm sure I will have it for another 10 years or so.

I got this shredder after my last one died an unnatural death at the hands of an obnoxious child (not my own, can you tell?) who liked to test the limits of everything mechanical in the house. I thought, "find a mid-priced shredder on Amazon and move on." I was very pleased with what I got from Fellows Shredder. Oddly, it comes with a CD. Does anyone seriously need shredder software? Eh. No harm, no foul. However, what I liked about it was the grounding plate around the shredder feed. If you have fingertips on the entrance to the shredder, it turns off. It's impossible to get fingers chewed by this shredder. While there are no toddlers in my house, I can imagine that this shredder is the perfect choice for a home that still has small children around. Or maybe even perfect for very clumsy adults. It's also got a CC shredder which I've actually used and I can say it works as advertised.
